4 Smart Tips to keep away from winter cold


Winters are the time when we all want to get cozy and just lie in the blankets at home. However, this does not seem to happen in reality!

 We all have our schools to attend, our office to work and our homes to take care!

When we speak of all this, the attention one should pay for his/her health during winters is diverted towards other routine works and commitments. This often results in catching cold and fever when we step out of homes in colder climates.


So, here are some quick and easy remedies to rely on during winters for good health. (Note down the ones you may need to do often.

1. Drink lots of fluids
To keep your body away from winter cold you must drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.  Well, water will ensure your muscles are functioning well and smoothly and you can avoid muscle cramps this way!  Water- your best health companion!

2. Use steam
Hold your face over a just-boiled pot to clear nasal congestion. Using a humidifier or hanging out in a steamy shower could also help. (Turns out that it is extremely effective, so you can jot it down right away and add to your regular to-do list for good health)

3. Make ginger tea
Ginger is a powerful antiviral root that seems to halt cold symptoms if taken early enough. Make a tea of sliced fresh ginger root, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and honey.

       4.  Make a homemade cough syrup

well and take 1 tbsp every 4 hours.
